William Barrett and Sons will be hosting a free session, with practical tips to support our children from early childhood through to teens. How to have those tough conversations and help guide our children through grief. Death can be unexpected but it is inevitable. This will be suitable and important for educators, parents, carers, medical personnel and counsellors. Being equipped with the knowledge to support our children is a community responsibility. Together, we can become more ‘death literate’.
Featuring the founding director and CEO of Lionheart Camp for Kids, Shelly Skinner. Shelly was the 2020 John Curtin Medal award winner. She is committed to working towards building a community where grief is seen as a healthy and positive response to death and life challenges.
