William Barrett and Sons Professional Service Fees are the prices which are charged for the components of the Funeral Service which William Barrett and Sons are responsible for.

Outside of these service fees there will be merchandise and disbursements to third parties which will also form part of the Funeral Invoice. Examples of merchandise would be things like printed materials, coffins, caskets and urns, which may be supplied by William Barrett and Sons.

Disbursements are payments made on your behalf and would often include Cemetery or Crematorium Fees, Clergy or Celebrant Fees, Newspaper Notices, Photographic Tributes, Flowers, and documents such as Cremation Permits and Death Certificates. William Barrett and Sons do not control the prices of disbursements.

All prices quoted by William Barrett and Sons are inclusive of GST, and all are for services provided within normal business hours, 8.30am-5pm, Mon-Fri. For services provided outside of normal business hours, additional fees will be applicable.

There are some aspects of the funeral service which family members may wish to be involved in, such as assisting our staff or arranging certain elements themselves.

William Barrett and Sons certainly encourage family members to assist in whatever way they feel is right for them. Personal contributions to the Funeral Service can be helpful in moving through the journey of grief. Please ask for further information on this if you wish.
