Together we have developed a range of printed tributes including bookmarks, orders of service booklets, mass booklets, children’s cards and thank you stationery. In addition we have a selection of poems, readings and verses to choose from. If you require further inspiration then we recommend www.funeralhelper.com as a great resource. They also have excellent advice on preparing eulogies.

Printed materials provide the ideal keepsake for family and friends to take away and have an everlasting memory of the deceased or pass on to those who were unable to attend the funeral.

Orders of Service Booklets
We offer 2 different sizes of Orders of Service booklets – A4 or A5. The A5 booklets offer three separate layouts on the second page; one featuring tributes from the family, one featuring a poem/verse and one without any content. The content on the third page is completely flexible depending on the content of the Funeral Service.

Towards the back of this book are some example poems, verses, readings and expressions which might provide some inspiration. You will also find some example text for the Thank You and Refreshment statements.

Mass Booklets
Mass Booklets traditionally have much more copy than a standard Orders of Service. This copy varies depending on the wishes of the Minister, Church or Families. This content is required to be delivered electronically to your consultant 48 hours prior to the funeral.

Prayer Cards
The custom of distributing Prayer Cards, also called Holy Cards, is a centuries old tradition of the Catholic Church. We offer two sizes of Prayer Card; an A7 folded card with front, internals and back, and a ‘Pocket’ Prayer Card with front and back, the same size as a standard business card (90x55mm).

Bookmarks
All of our Bookmarks include a poem or verse on the reverse side. Visit our Readings, Prayers and Poems page for examples of some poems/verses to choose from or alternatively they can be replaced by your personal selection. Please advise your Funeral Director of your choice and remember to specify the author.

Thank You Cards
Many families choose to send Thank You cards to friends and attendees at the funeral. All of our Thank You cards come in a matching design to the Order of Service or Mass Booklets. The cards offer a clear internal spread for your personalised message. Alternatively you can choose to include a poem on Page 3 or a printed message in the centre of Page 3 which allows you to simply complete the addressee details and sign off.

Children’s Cards
Our selection of Children’s Cards can be customised with either a poem or message on the rear side of the card. Alternatively you can select to have the rear of the card left as writing space for your family and friends to leave messages and return to you.

If none of the designs within our Collections appeal then we do have a fully customised option for which some additional fees will apply. A brief to either your Funeral Director or Funeral Studio will be required prior to starting the design and can incorporate special photos/images from your personal collection.

If you have any special requests then please do not hesitate to ask. Families often ask if they can choose a certain design in a different colour this can be done without additional cost. In our floral section we can interchange a flower selection as well.

As all of our printed materials are personalised, please ensure that we receive the photos and music selections at the time and place advised by your William Barrett & Sons Funeral Director.

If you are delivering your photos, please place them all together in the provided envelope*. Please remove the photos from frames and albums to ensure they are not damaged.
